We challenged Maria to create a special recipe for this festive season... and she came up with a real winter treat πβ¨
A super fluffy, aromatic and irresistible vegan orange sponge cake, made with our Vanilla Protein to give it that extra protein boost, without altering the flavor and without losing any of the traditional magic ππ
Ingredients:
- 2 + 3/4 cups spelt flour
- 1/4 cup vanilla protein (tarwi)
- 3 tablespoons cornflour
- 1 tablespoon cooking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 cup soy milk
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup agave syrup
- Orange zest
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180ΒΊC and grease a ring cake tin.
- In one bowl, mix the sifted dry ingredients, and in another, mix the liquids.
- Add the liquids to the dry ingredients, mix until smooth and pour into the tin.
- Bake until golden brown.
