Cocoa High-Protein Salami
Sugar-free, high in protein and delicious!
🕒 Preparation time: 15 min
🕒 Refrigeration time: minimum 8 hours, ideally overnight
🍴 Serves: 8 slices of salami
Ingredients:
300g natural yoghurt or natural Greek yoghurt
80g More than Protein: Intense Cocoa
200g sugar-free toasted biscuits or Maria-type biscuits
80g hazelnuts or other chopped nuts
Grated coconut to taste
🥣 Preparation:
1. Mix the yoghurt with the cocoa protein until you have a smooth cream.
2. Add the crumbled biscuits* and nuts, mixing well.
3. Place the mixture on baking paper, shape into a salami and roll up.
4. Place in the freezer for at least 8 hours (or overnight).
5. Remove from the freezer at least 2–3 hours before serving, so that it is easy to cut into slices.
6. The final texture is creamier than traditional salami — but super tasty and high in protein!
7. Sprinkle with grated coconut before serving.
Note:
* Crumble some of the biscuits to form a flour to help give the salami consistency.
Tip: store in the freezer and slice whenever you fancy a sweet and nutritious snack!
